The Product
The Coffee Pocket is a reusable hand held coffee filter, made to last forever.
Every Coffee Pocket is handmade on Gadigal land. The frame, the pocket, the packaging, every single detail is made with love and care.
The Coffee Pocket is made from 100% organic Australian jersey cotton. Each pocket is cut and sewn by hand. The cotton is grown in Queensland and spun in Victoria.
The frame includes a clasp which allows for the removal of the pocket which can be cleaned thoroughly in the wash or replaced over time.
The Story
The Coffee Pocket was an idea formed by Lihnida Krstanoska-Blazeska after her travels in Argentina.
Reusable coffee filters were sold in most stores and she was told that they were a very common household item. She was shown how to use it and ended up using it every day during her trip. She quickly realised how incredible the product was, brought it back to Australia and continued to use it every day.
While using this product, Lihnida was constantly thinking about how she could alter and improve it to make sure that it could be used excessively without changing the flavour of the coffee.
She wanted to create a product here in Australia which would be completely reusable, sustainable and uncomplicated to use. After a year of constant trialing and testing; deciding on the metal for the frame, the fabric for the pocket and the overall design of the product, finally The Coffee Pocket was born.
“I want to finally introduce everyone to this product which I have been using every single day for over two years. I hope you all love it as much as I do.” — Lihnida
